Thai Yoga Massage

Thai massage is a system of massage and assisted stretching developed in Thailand, and influenced by the traditional medicine systems of India, China, and Southeast Asia.

Thai Yoga combines myofascial stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, rhythmic rocking, acupressure, energy balancing, Buddhist meditation and assisted Hatha Yoga postures, blended together in a seamless sequence. It is done on a futon mat with the client dressed in comfortable clothing that allows full movement of the entire body. For the receiver it is like having an entire passive yoga therapy session done—without any effort on their part.

Thai Massage is an effective way to relieve chronic muscle tension, headaches, neck and back pain, sciatic nerve pain, and digestive disorders, as well as effectively reducing the mental anxiety and physical discomfort brought on by the cumulative effects of everyday stress.

The results of this work leaves the receiver with a general sense of calm, openness, and mental clarity, accompanied by the unique feeling of having been plugged-in and recharged - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
